it’s funny how the slightest touch of a hand can feel like the electric shock of a thousand lighting bolts, scattering thoughts all over a stormy sky… when that of the same hand used to be such a familiar, comfortable feeling, one that simply felt like home.

I sense conspiracy.
Companies that manufacture hair ties must have access to some ridiculous technology which programs every rubber band to run away and/or disintegrate after x amount of time from leaving the cardboard packaging thing. There is no way that I just lose them like this.
Sigh.
My hair is currently tied with a headband… which used to be the waistband of an old pair of tights....
